Doha Marathon by Ooredoo 2027 — 15th Edition
The Doha Marathon by Ooredoo returns on 15 January 2027 for its milestone 15th edition, set to be the largest in the event's history. Organised along Doha's world-famous Corniche, this World Athletics Gold Label road race attracts elite athletes and community runners alike from across the globe.
Starting and finishing at Hotel Park Doha, the fast, predominantly flat course winds past the gleaming skyscrapers of West Bay and alongside the calm waters of the Arabian Gulf, offering a spectacular backdrop for every runner. Race distances cater to all levels: Full Marathon (42 km), Half Marathon (21 km), 10 km, 5 km, and a Kids' 1 km Fun Run.
With over 20,000 participants expected, the event features wave starts in the cooler early-morning hours, a festive Marathon Village with wellness zones and food outlets, and a prize pool of approximately QAR 1,000,000 in cash and vehicle raffles open to all finishers. A dedicated Al-Adaam category rewards top Qatari finishers, and participants with disabilities may enter free of charge in distances up to 21 km. Qatar Airways offers a 10% airfare discount for international runners.
