Formula 1 Under the Lights: the Singapore Grand Prix 2026
The Formula 1 Singapore Airlines Singapore Grand Prix 2026 takes place from October 9 to 11, 2026 on the spectacular Marina Bay Street Circuit, Round 18 of the 2026 season. Singapore made history in 2008 as host of Formula 1's first-ever night race, and the event remains one of the most visually stunning weekends on the calendar, run entirely under floodlights against the backdrop of the city's illuminated skyline.
The street circuit winds 4.927 km through the Downtown Core and Kallang area with 19 turns, its layout refreshed in 2023 with a long 398-metre straight that improved overtaking. The venue holds over 90,000 spectators, and the Bay Grandstand — with around 27,000 seats — is among the largest grandstands in Formula 1. The 2026 edition is also a Sprint weekend, the final Sprint round of the season, packing Sprint Qualifying, the Sprint race, qualifying and the Grand Prix into three action-filled days and nights.
Off the track, the Singapore Grand Prix doubles as a city-wide festival, with headline concerts inside the circuit park, world-class dining and the unmatched energy of racing through a city centre at night. Ticket options range from multi-day walkabout passes to premium grandstand seats overlooking Marina Bay.
