About the Event
Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix 2026
The Moët & Chandon Formula 1 Belgian Grand Prix 2026 takes place from 17 to 19 July 2026 at the legendary Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps, nestled deep in the picturesque Ardennes forest of eastern Belgium. The event has been moved one week earlier compared to the 2025 edition.
Spa-Francorchamps is widely regarded as one of the greatest and most challenging circuits in Formula 1 history. Its 7 km layout combines iconic fast corners — including the legendary Eau Rouge and Raidillon sequence, the La Source hairpin, and the high-speed Blanchimont — with dramatic elevation changes and blazing long straights. The circuit's famous microclimate means conditions can shift rapidly, with rain on one sector and sunshine on another, adding a thrilling strategic dimension to every race weekend.
Starting in 2026, the Belgian Grand Prix will feature on the F1 calendar for only four of the next six seasons, making each edition even more exclusive. Support categories confirmed for the 2026 weekend include Formula 2, Formula 3, and the Porsche Mobil 1 Supercup. The 2025 edition set an all-time attendance record of 389,000 spectators across the weekend. Official tickets are available through the Spa Grand Prix website.
