Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo 2027 — 95th Edition

The 95th Rallye Automobile Monte-Carlo is scheduled to take place from Monday 18 to Sunday 24 January 2027, subject to calendar approval by the FIA World Motor Sport Council. Organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco, this iconic event once again opens the FIA World Rally Championship (WRC) season.

As one of the oldest and most prestigious motorsport events in the world, the Rallye Monte-Carlo has been testing the limits of car and crew since its first edition in 1911. The ceremonial start takes place in the glamorous Principality of Monaco, while the competitive stages wind through the breathtaking passes of the French Alps, including the legendary Col de Turini.

The route is renowned for its unpredictable winter conditions — competitors may face dry asphalt, slush, sheet ice, and snow, often within a single stage. Tyre strategy and road-reading skills are as decisive as raw speed, making the Monte-Carlo a unique intellectual and physical challenge.

The detailed route for the 2027 edition is yet to be announced. Fans are encouraged to follow updates on the official Automobile Club de Monaco website. Most Alpine stages are traditionally free for spectators, though weather-appropriate clothing and early arrival are strongly advised.
