Mutua Madrid Open 2027
The Mutua Madrid Open 2027 is the 25th edition of one of the most prestigious clay-court tennis tournaments in the world. Scheduled from 19 April to 2 May 2027, the two-week event takes place at the iconic Caja Mágica in Madrid, Spain, as it has done every year since 2009.
The tournament holds ATP Masters 1000 status on the men's circuit and WTA 1000 status on the women's circuit, making it one of the few events on the global calendar to host both tours simultaneously at the same venue. The world's top-ranked players compete for the coveted title on the signature red clay courts.
The Caja Mágica — designed by architect Dominique Perrault — is a modern sporting marvel featuring three courts with retractable roofs, allowing matches to be played in any weather. The iconic Manolo Santana Centre Court accommodates just over 12,500 fans, delivering an electric atmosphere unique to Madrid.
In 2026, the titles were claimed by Jannik Sinner (Italy) in the men's draw and Marta Kostyuk (Ukraine) in the women's draw. The 2027 edition promises another unmissable chapter of world-class tennis in the heart of the Spanish capital.
