Voltaren City2Surf 2026 – Sydney, Australia

The Voltaren City2Surf 2026 takes place on Sunday, 9 August 2026 in Sydney, Australia. Now in its 56th edition, it is recognised as the world's largest fun run, bringing together more than 90,000 participants from all walks of life — elite athletes, fun-runners, families, charity fundraisers and first-timers alike.

The iconic 14 km point-to-point course starts at Hyde Park (intersection of Park Street and College Street) in Sydney's CBD and finishes on the golden sands of Bondi Beach. Along the way, runners tackle the infamous Heartbreak Hill, a roughly two-kilometre climb that begins around the sixth kilometre, with a total elevation gain of approximately 221 metres before the exhilarating descent to the ocean.

Beyond the race itself, the event is a celebration of community and charity. Since 2008, participants have collectively raised over $63 million for charitable organisations, and the 2026 edition sets an ambitious fundraising goal of $5 million. Whether you run, jog, walk or stroll, the Voltaren City2Surf is about doing it your way. Staggered start waves ensure a great experience for everyone. Post-race festivities, live entertainment and food await at Bondi Beach.
